Known Issues
When PTO is engaged for blades and lowered to begin cutting grass, engine bogs down and eventually stalls. Operates normally under normal conditions without PTO load.
User reports developing a heavy leak on the front left wheel after heavy use over the past year. The leak is likely related to axle seals or bearings at the front wheel hub.
Engine surges with throttle fluctuating up and down during idle and running. Issue does not occur under load (e.g., when PTO is engaged). User has replaced oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, and carburetor without resolution.
PTO clutch intermittently disengages and stops cutting despite pulleys and deck belt still spinning. Issue occurs intermittently during mowing operation. Temporary workaround is manually disengaging and re-engaging PTO, which restores cutting for short duration before issue recurs.
After running for approximately 10 minutes, the ammeter drops to the middle position. When PTO is turned off and back on, it sometimes fails to engage and requires throttle adjustment to function properly.
