Safety Recalls
On a small number of vehicles, the ground connection for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) blower motor may not have been secured properly. As a result, the defroster could stop working, and you may not be able to defog or defrost the windshield.

Known Issues
Shifter exhibits excessive looseness and floppy movement with lateral play, allowing the shifter knob to move left and right. Despite the looseness, tractor still runs and changes gears normally.

Howdy All, I’ve got a 1964 Ford 2000 tractor and the temperature gauge is not working. I found a few gauges online for this unit, but the probe diameter on them are all too large (.375 versus mine is closer to .3125). It specifically mentioned this in the listing being an issue you have to check for on earlier heads so I’m glad I did. Does anyone have a lock on a smaller diameter probe? I saw mentions of drilling out the hole to fit a .375 probe (I tried to fit a .375 dowel and it is indeed too large) but this makes me a bit nervous to do in place. Bear in mind this tractor is a bit of a Frankenstein. It has a D2NL 6015A engine which is apparently a 172 CI industrial engine made in 1972. As far as I can tell, the rear end, transmission, and engine are all off different units originally. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I am speccing a rototiller for a 1968 Ford 2000 gifted to me by a family member. Specifically, just wondering what would be an appropriate width as tilling depth is probably going to be around 6" for the options I see. We have a lot of clay in our soil here in my area (Eastern Canada). The tractor is the 3 cyl gas model with the 8-speed transmission and live PTO. With the tires that are on it now need 72" to clear the tires 1 inch on each side. I run a 72" Lucknow blower without any issues running low range reverse. Thanks in advance.
I have a 4 cyl gas engine (134) that is surging when I increase the throttle. , I thought it was a fuel issue so I rebuilt the carb, cleaned the sediment bowl and screen and cleaned the screen that's attached to the shutoff valve under the tank. But it still surges, so I orderd a new governor and the compensator springs. When I took the timing cover off I saw the governor fork has a flat spot on both sides of the fork. I'm curious if this is normal.
