Known Issues
Engine acts like battery is dead on startup. Alternator charges at 15V with engine running but voltage drops to 10V when engine is turned off. Battery is new (2021). Issue suggests possible voltage regulator or alternator rectifier malfunction causing excessive discharge or improper charging regulation.
Has anyone got a 4610 with the column shift decal that could flick me a picture? I believe mine is a 1983 2WD model, 8 speed synchromesh transmission. Had a dash fire and unfortunately the chart with the gear pattern, speed at various rpm/gear etc was impacted. I've done a fair bit of searching but only seem to come up with the H shift pattern. Even better if someone could point me to where I can purchase a replacement.
So I have a ford 4610 and every time I go to start the tractor it acts like the battery is dead the battery is a 2021 and the alternator is charging at 15V I get 15 V at the battery with the engine running but when I turn it off it goes down to 10v is there something I’m missing
