Known Issues
The old man bought a JD 2032r for around the farm as it's a TLB with MMM. He was getting older, and this would be an “all-in-one” machine. It costs about 30k in 21. We have many tractors: Green, Allis Chalmers, Farmall, and New Holland Workmaster. To say this tractor has been the worst/neediest would be an understatement. With just over 135 hours, this will be the 4th time I've had it taken to the dealership (twice when it just died in the field). Today, she is loading hay bales (small round bales), and she's doing fine chugging along until she randomly spits and dies. I start it up thinking I accidentally hit the MMM switch and reversed; nope, it runs for a second, then dies again. The first time it died in the field was around 98hrs, and they changed all the fuel filters and had them do the oil, etc, while it was there. I also doubled the filters on our diesel tank to ensure it’s not a fuel issue on our end. Two other tractors run the same diesel with no problem, but I just want verification. Last vent, I called the dealer and vented and said this was there not many hours ago. He said the last we saw it was 21 with 65 hours ago, and it was a yearly service. Now I'm having to find the older receipt for what they did the last time. This may be the last Green tractor I buy for a while, as even the Workmaster (which is a glorified LS) hasn't had problems like this fancy Green tractor. Ok, I'm done thanks for listening.
