This recall involves 1023E, 1025R and 2025R Compact Utility Tractors with the model number and "John Deere" printed on the hood. The recalled tractors are green and yellow, and were sold with both opened and closed operator stations. The serial numbers of tractors included in this recall can be found at www.deere.com. Click on "Parts & Service" and scroll to "Recall" or go to www.deere.com/en/parts-and-service/recall-information/. The serial number is located on the frame, on the front right side of the tractor, near the engine.
Known Issues
Engine stalls when PTO is engaged. Mower deck spins freely and tractor runs normally without PTO engagement, suggesting a PTO engagement or load issue causing engine stalling.
John Deere 4210 stopped starting. No signal going to the starter when the key is turned. Had it flat bedded to Greenline in Fredericksburg and they worked on it for three weeks. Told me that they had every tech in the place look at it and nobody can find the problem. Sometimes it starts, sometime it doesn't. Brought it back to me and it's been a green and yellow lawn ornament ever since. Received
User experienced an epic hydraulic fluid leak while mowing. The leak appears to be at a hydraulic line connector. User is seeking advice on whether to replace the entire line or just the connector.
Not sure if anyone found an answer, but I found the same problem. I did possibly find a solution universal tire I found Walmart 17.00 each Marathon 20210 Universal Fit Air-Filled Replacement Tire, 4.10/3.50-4". After looking for hours online. I will see if it fits Wednesday when it arrives
Our JD 5210 is having issues now and again where it starts right up, and then died once the key is back in the run position. It works great half the time and the other half we have this issue. We never have this issue when the tractor is already warm from prior use. Any help would be appreciated.
