Hey folks, I'm a equipment mechanic and a customer of mine has an m7040 narrow tractor. Roughly 6 years old. He wants me to do some maintenance and repairs on it now and am looking for a repair / service manual. Called our local Kubota dealer and they want $800+tax for it. Nuts considering this tractor may give me work once a year. Any of you guys have luck buying manuals online and getting ones accurate to the application? I'm hesitant to buy a lot of the E manuals and getting stuck with an out of date manual.
In snowy North Carolina this morning. 7.5” measured on the back deck a minute ago. Lots more coming. I have a Kubota M7040 with cab and 4wd. Spent a few hours yesterday doing some maintenance and making sure it is all good to go. Jumped in this morning, fired it up, waited for the engine to come up on temp and let the heat warm up. Got settled in for a good long ride. Plowed my 3/4 mile long driveway and a neighbors driveway. Elderly couple with dementia, their kids take care of them and they were really concerned because they couldn’t find someone to plow. Pretty high probability of needing EMT with them so being able to get out is really important. So nice to be able to just get to it and not have to fuss around with things not working or trying to fight equipment. That’s all. Just figured I’d share how much I love my tractor.
