A production anomaly at the supplier’s facility may cause delamination of the anode in a battery cell, where electrode material detaches and can damage the current collector and separator, potentially leading to an internal short circuit in the traction battery and resulting in loss of autonomy, inability to recharge, or thermal runaway which could lead to a risk of fire.

The tightening of the ball joint nuts of the front lower control arm may be insufficient due to a processing defect. The first signs thereof are an abnormal noise (clicking and/or knocking sounds) detected at low mileage. One of the connections between the wheel and the frame of the vehicle may be lost, which could cause the vehicle to veer off course, leading to accidents.

The required breakage force for the accelerator pedal stop was not applied to the pedal support design. As a result, the pedal stop may fail under excessive pedal force. If this occurs while driving, the accelerator pedal could detach at its attachment point, preventing acceleration and causing loss of traction. This could lead to injuries.
