We are trying to operate a WS102RS wood chipper with our Valtra N121. But when starting the machine the safety/shear bolt (M8) breaks very easily. Even at lowest engine RPM and 540 PTO (the machine supports up to 1000) the bolt breaks. The wood chipper is completely empty and nothing is blocking the rotor. The acceleration speed of the PTO is simply too high, which causes excessive torque. When the bolt doesn't break during the start, we can work with the machine without problems. Is it possible to lower the acceleration of the PTO on this tractor. Or could something else be wrong?
